Congratulations to Evelyn and Curtis on their engagement. I was honored to be a part of this special moment in their lives. Curtis planned a special surprise engagement that involved family and friends. He asked me to help rope Evelyn in by staging a “model” photo shoot which helped to set the stage for him to pop the question. We staged the shoot in lovely Moore State Park in Paxton, MA.
Needless to say the weather forecast called for rain that day, (June turned out to be one of the rainiest to-date). However, with God’s favor the rain held off for the shoot, despite the not-so-good rainy day start. Family and friends managed to sneak into the park and stage themselves in a hidden area while I occupied the couple doing what I love to do – taking pictures. Once everyone was in place, Curtis was then able to pop the question, while everyone came out of hiding to see the surprise unfold. Everyone had fun and she said “YES” of course!
